You can see the 10 most recently updated pages on the site at this url:

Visitors to the site see this link from the front page. Is that a good idea? Does it look weird? How could it look better? (Yeah, you'll have to log out to see it like they would.)

Design-wise, I'd suggest maybe putting one less break between the list and the new line, and one more break between the new line and the hr. Otherwise, looks good. BTW I couldn't read your post by clicking on the red--I had to go back to the front page and click system news.

Been having trouble with links too. Some underlined elements are not clickable for me, for instance only the first part of your link to the official hubble images was clickable, I had to try a few times before making it to the hubble page. A comment link was broken (I think it was in dratfink, but not the one Sarah was referring to)

I don't mind the looks of the link and I think the page itself looks good design wise.

I'm also getting those problem links: they only work at the left edge.

The link thing is weird. I can't duplicate that. Do you still see that behavior on this comment?

No.

Oh, maybe I see. The [add a comment] link was not working correctly in the case where it read [1 new comment] (or [x new comments].) In those cases only the 1 was clickable, not the 'new comment'. Now the whole thing should be clickable. Maybe that's what you were seeing? Nice catch.

I've had both problems. The front page comment links seem to be ok now, but that link on the hubble comment page still only works at the left side.

Do you mean my link ('Here's the official site') or Steve's link ('Nice new Hubble photos')? The only thing I can see is that Steve's link end with <a/> instead of </a>, but that shouldn't matter too much. Doesn't in my browser at least. <a/> is actually valid XHTML (although not valid HTML.) Still, I have a feeling you mean my link which does seem fine to me (but obviously isn't if this is happening.) Strange. I'll keep thinking.

"Here's the official site for the images. I little overloaded at the moment." goes dead after the word "site", but the whole thing is underlined.

God that's strange. The link is only supposed to be 'Here's the official site'. I wonder why all of it is underlined?

Oh! I'll bet it's Steve's link overrunning the <a/>. I fixed it in his post. Does that fix mine? Thanks for the effort you guys.

It's OK now. Is it god or the devil that's in the details?
