Do you mean core isn't showing for you, so you'll resubscribe? (you'd do that by adding core from the 'add a page' pull down menu in [subscriptions])
Or is it not resubscribing you when you try?
Note: I didn't put any private pages on anyone's home page, so it will be the case that you'll have to add any back by hand in [subscriptions]. Should work though.
