with regards to new pages, im wondering if all subpages within a specific users sphere (all the /dratfink/whatever/ pages) should either funnel into the dmtree posts/comments structure on the homepage, or else some sort of subfolder system should be accessible there. something like you once had on the subscription page. youd click on a triangle next to the blog name and a list of the (public) subpages would open beneath it. if each of the subpages had their own post/comments capability that would be the best option. so the subpages would be visible only if desired and youd be alerted to new material. also, when a page is created it would be in the subfolder so if you missed in inception announcement, youd eventually notice it. and it would minimize the potential mess on the homepage if there were too many pages.
