Yes, it's like having Eudora set to check. Seems like it's not working for you. If you just get taken to the homepage then it is the case that the system thinks you have unread post and/or comments on some page you are tracking (although this page doesn't necessarily have to be on your homepage.) I'll look into your case tomorrow.
