This work is stunning. I want to print it, hang it on my walls, study it - I'm moved.
I can't even begin to think of when I last communicated. I think it was before I left Portland. I was hired for a teaching job - at last! - in Myrtle Creek, Oregon, in November. I had ten days to move and begin work. I am finally beginning to unpack and get my mind sorted out. I finally have time to think of my friends and of getting back in touch. I missed your birthday.
We all - all four kids, etc. - gathered in Portland last week for Zoe's graduation from the PCC music certificate program she and Garrett were doing. They recorded a CD too. I am more impressed than I had expected to be - I really like their sound and their songs. they're damn good.
You should consider a trip West - we have a nice little rental house in Roseburg, about 185 miles south of Portland on the I5 corridor. Kelly sold the mobile home for me in January and moved out here too. We are brewing beer. It's really good.
