A new piece of music I made: "Eine Zwei Drei" [1 min - 1.37MB - .mp3]. I find it kind of sinister. Coming this soon after talking about Monotrona, it might be compared to that, but I'd say it's closer to Laibach. That's it--a kind of abject, basement Laibach (Slovenian dirge-y synth stuff, but this is goofier.)
A google search for "counting in german" took me here to AudioSparx.com. Other audio items for sale under the catgory "Talking Male-International" include: "You go now you be here four hour","As you wish, my lord", "My mother (laughter) was a pure woman", "Get on with your work!" and (my favourite, without having actually shelled out the cash to listen to any of them) "I'm thirty-seven. I'm not old!"
I can't believe they're selling that stuff. Oh, well, I guess I can. I was tempted by "Spock Answering Machine Message."
I got my "counting in german" by typing the phonetic "ein zwigh drigh fear foonf sex seeben och" into the "preview" box of the speech synthesizer that comes with Windows XP (or maybe it's just a demo). You only have one choice of voice: Microsoft Sam (their version of Yosemite Sam?). I copied the text and pasted it into the preview box again and again, so many times it started running out of gas and sounding all gimpy. (Fun back story!)
