| Katherine Grayson, Value Study #1, 2004, collage and ink on paper, 8 X 5 inches (detail). From "The Infinite Fill Show." The artist makes her own zipatone with printed out, cut out fill patterns. The piece has a very hands-on, day camp feel to it, at odds with the computer element, which is supposedly so "cold" (at least to the cult of the hand that still thrives in the art world). |

UPDATE: A large-ish image (750 x 1000) of Joe McKay's piece has been added and linked to in the post where it's discussed.
RE: update - Thanks tom, that's a nice picture.
This piece by Kathy stood out for me too. I felt closest to the actual pictures that I would make back in the day.
