Below: Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, from the 2006 NAMM show (the big musical instrument trade show). Other pics, mostly of big wire-festooned analog synthesizers and the dudes who love them, are here. I wondered what NAMM stood for, so I looked it up on their website and here's what I learned:What does NAMM stand for? NAMM stands for the global music products industry. NAMM stands for you. (The FAQ page says "National Association of Music Merchants.")
woah! crop the shopper and this image is begging to be giffordized!!!
GIF! GIF! GIF! GIF!
i went to college with someone whose name was gifford (gif) gifford.
I don't want to see these guitars move, I want to stare in slack jawed amazement at the Vienna Workshop stained glass butterfly guitar, and the pink heart with the pebbly Memphis formica texture, and the perfect Jim Isermann daisies, and all those pinks, those purples... *sigh*
Also cropping the shopper would mean taking out the only woman at the NAMM show.
rachel, rachel...
rochelle rochelle
I have not heard Rachel Rachel.
There was a rash of art house movies in the early '90s with the same word repeated. 2 by the same director: Europa Europa and Olivier, Olivier.
When I still ordered Cokes in theatres I always ordered "Child" (which is still a lot of Coke). A typical ploy was for the concessions employee to hold up the little dinky cup and wiggle it with a look that said "Do you really want this? A big man like you?" (Swine.)
Back to the guitars: Subtly psychedelic remixes are OK, however.
wowza! paul's remix is awesome! he doesn't allow comments on his blog (who does, these days, sheesh!), so i'm saying it here... wowza! :)
