Updated: backgrounds are now transparent so the discs are round against a colored background--finally figured out how to do that this morning--takes a long time with the clumsy tools I'm using.
Update 2: fixed bad image tag--OK now, bloglines?
I like them, what are the clumsy tools?
Thanks. The frames are drawn in MSPaint, which doesn't have "transparent" as a color so I had to use a product I hate that shall remain nameless.
GIMP easily does transparent.
To quote you: "...pulsing symbol of both the promise and failure of technology" I totally see this. I particularly like the one on the right - though admittedly I am biased as these are colors are all over AFC.
Thanks, Paddy. These were done for a page launching soon (like, this week) that I think you'll get a kick out of!
