"Song 15 (Nosebone)" [mp3 removed]
London, UK producer Brains has kindly remixed a couple of my tunes and encouraged me to pick up the pace a bit. This song is peppier (138 bpm) than the usual fare (90-120). It's done "live" in one take on that tangle of gear posted earlier.
Update: I will likely do another version with less of the high-pitched chirp-stabs.
dude this is pretty bangin, reminds me of synewave or jack trax [+8 sublabel] stuff with a slight dan curtain influence.
now if you could only use CSS to locate youtube audio rips within specific EQ ranges you'd be set!
Thanks---I didn't know Synewave but I like what I heard on their site (the current stuff).
I have a Mr. Fingers LP on Jack Trax.
Good call on the Curtin--it wasn't conscious but that repeating final note at the end of "stanzas" (and some of the structure) is very him.
the jack trax label i was thinking of isn't the chicago one that mr.fingers would have had records on but the one started later by richie hawtin...and my memory failed me it's actually just called JACK.
i think you'd like it, the only did a few records but this one in particular
