We're trying to get a little dinner together for tonight. Mark is in town. Originally we thought the soon to be departing El Teddys was our spot, but now we're thinking of chinese (GSI uptown branch.) Any thoughts? comments? How about 7:30?
I'd prefer El Teddy's, as a nostalgia move, and because I've been to GSI more recently, but I can do whichever. I suppose bottle policy and bs level favor GSI for lower key post-holiday dining, but quasi-mex and a margarita might get that January thaw going. Either way is fine with me.
i cant make it but say hello to Mark for me!! GSI Midtown is 745 9th ave 50/51--i do have some bottles of wine woth like ~$15 each that i dont need (5 of them) if someone wants to pick them up...

International which is an amazing Chinese restaurant about as far from your place in Chinatown as we could pick. Very good. Very good on the wallet.) sorry. i got caught up in a visitor. i should get a decent meal in me but midtown is about halfway to china. and this twoday old congealed noodle dish isnt getting any younger. mmm, cold limp prawns.
