It's a cool idea, and could sidestep a lot of squabbling, but I suppose it's DOA. If Gaudi were American, maybe. And if the mainstream media starts digging into Laffoley, with his time machine and alien implant…

If they built that it would seriously restore my confidence in New York City and the world. I know there is little chance, but I can hope.

Alex, have you watched TV much lately? I'm pretty sure alien implants help your case.

I think the architect's montage of the building looming above the skyline is chilling. It looks like the palace of Great Cthulhu, and I envision that tentacle-headed horror lurking behind its walls, running the city in exchange for human sacrifice. I'm not knocking the building here, just the scale.

its a looker alright, but they dont build them that way anymore because of the expense.
