On last nights antique roadshow an appraiser was, well appraising a victorian icewater pitcher.
he described it as heavily decorated with geometric pattern and then I missed the term he used, I believe it was latin. He clarified it as (i believe) "vacume fear", The compulsion to fill space. Any one hear are are familar with the actual term ?
