I know there is a problem with editing posts where the post reappears in the posting box with a lot of whitespace at the beginning. This doesn't really matter in terms of the main page, but it looks sort of bad while editing. Not sure why this is happening (seems like mysql is adding it in for some reason) but that's on my list to fix too.

oh wait, that's not right. I have so many files open in front of me that I'm on the verge of being totally confused. Hopefully I'll get this working before that happens. The main page has the most recently posted thing at the top. The comments page has most recently posted at the bottom. This seems to make sense to me, what do you think?
that seems about right. obviously overkill now but you could thread the threads eventually. maybe our names underneath our posts could be hyperlinked to either our emails or our blogs or perhaps some dippy as yet undefined profile page.

yes, excellent idea to link the names to either email or our page. I'll have to add another field to the database though becasue not everyone's email or page is the same as their name (i.e., you're not dave@digital...) Of course, maybe it would just be easier to redirect dave@digi... to your mailbox. Yes, I think that's what I'll do.
As for the threads of threads - I thought about that briefly, but decided just to get it working first. I'll have to think more about it. Probably not too hard, but I'm just not sure. My brain is a little fried from what I've already coded today. There could be some tricky problem lurking in there. Still, it would be nice.
