(haiku for alex)
A wandering path...
only my grinding footsteps
and the birds' silence
though somewhat resembling bad poetry generated in my youth, the haiku generator can become addictive, at least for 10 minutes, hoping for a good one, before you never want to go back...
we toasted terrence with some champagne (egly rose grand cru) last night - decided it just might be time to break out the jungle wine...?
tonight
nothing to write
but this
fort tyron park is on fire i hear--lets try to go good doctor
--wheel
That's Tryon, as in Dwight Tryon, a turn of the century (last century) tonalist I'm somewhat fond of. Not aware of any connection between him and the park, but it is pretty in spring. (I hope "on fire" is metaphoric; I have a recurring fear of Central Park going up in flames.) I was there last year in April, and thought I might have been a tad early, but things seem to be moving faster this year. I'm raring to go (of course I've also got to get back to Prospect Park, not to mention Long Island, etc…).
for Mr. Wilson and Rachael;
leprechauns crawl,
elms repulse formlessly,
still lemons palpitate
Shouldn't that be "Still, lemons palpitate"? I mean, it doesn't make sense otherwise. What kind of a loose ship are running here, anyway?
still lemons cant palpitate? they do in my house.
limply rich streams flop
mumbling grieving agonies
ranting, lewdly, ghost

I'm thinking about a Syntax Enforcement Corporation IPO to take advantage of the bear market.
