my weather bug monitor is reading a sultry 28 degrees. is god running out of oil? whats going on here?
Mine too. Damn, I had no idea. Last night was the first time the heat was on *all* night, and I guess I now know why. I have to say it works pretty well - it is toasty in here. Not looking forward to going outside though.

i like it as it is today - unseasonably warm (60 degrees) and exceptionally overcast without raining much.

The Santa Cruz Mtns are getting into foggy, rainy mode. Just in time for the "Clueless People In Minivans Retying the X-mas Tree on Top of Their Vehicle while Stopped in the Middle of a Blind Curve" Season. Commute time has increased.

im pretty sure it doesnt snow in portland or.

some winters not at all but we've gotten three feet a few times in my life. Most winters we see a few inches esp. in the hills.

it snowed 18 inches in Great Falls as soon as we left. The weather in Montana was so mild while I was there. Ken and I went up to the Smith River. We went on this walk, I want to take all of you there to this spot that we stumbled upon; there is a really old tree and what is left of a cliff, a horizontal rock leaning against an old tree.
