The tiny versions of images on the Tree in the address bar (not just the Tree logo) are sweet. When did that happen?

It's called favicon.ico. I added it a while ago (6 months? I have no sense of time.) Doesn't work exactly in every browser.

Google favicon.ico and check it out. If anyone can make a better one (or if you make a custom one for your page) just let me know and I'll put them in place.

I knew about the Tree favicon, but I just noticed other images showing up that way. I thought it was all Tree images, but it appears my browser does that with any image file it loads (including stuff on my hard drive). That must be new to the latest update of Firefox.

how can we put favicons on our own pages? i know how to create just seems to be no mechanism to add them.
