Keep the lasagna flying: Robert Anton Wilson, R.I.P..
I'm never sure whether to be embarrassed or not that Wilson's The Illuminatus Trilogy was the book that had the biggest impact on my thinking. I was so sad when I finished because I wanted it to go on forever. I wish he could have as well.
I loved the trilogy.
And Cosmic Triggers I and II
Bob dies on Albert Hoffman's birthday. Purrfect.
Hofmann, that is.. still tripping at 101. &.for a great painter's portrait of him find Wolfgang Maria Ohlhauser's antidote to the sadly popularized insulting insipidity of Alex Grey's anatomy of treacle.
right you are, two ns.
I thinkwave at you whenever I pass Portland tearysmiling knowing that you, as a kickass artist who knows where he's coming from, have no more problems with Frank than you ever did. Maybe it's yer upbringing around so much obstetrics & gynecology that lets you enjoy a good bloody screaming for the sheertrue hell of it. Why are there people like Frank in this world? Neighbor! Because there are people like Jim in this world? Man, I miss that guy & am hella proud to know he's hitting his stride. One time the three of us together reenacted the original moment of the human bound of the band of brothers & a waitress was there to witness. I remember. It's not like it went anywhere. Like Monk said:It's always night, or we wouldn't need light.
Bond of brothers, that is. & O yeah Dave, you were there too Dave, but you didn't join us for lunch because you said you were too busy playing First Life.

Happy birthday, happy deathday.
If I remember anything about the trip it’s that we don’t get there by demeaning others.
(note: this alex is not grey.)
Did anybody ever tell you...anything ? Where are the men to whose memory
it would be demeaning ? I love you all but we cannot be married until we are formally engaged. So, Happy Deathday to you, Patrick: you can have your blog & eat it too. Now you run go give Alex Grey a hug, he lives right down the block.Or better yet, give yourself a big hagiographic hug in the Passive Aggressive Circle Jerk of the Sacred Mirrors for putting that raging Frank back where he belongs.
Friends of Dave?
