I have one leg that was chewed on, shaved and sewed up. And one that got popped out of it's socket, popped back in and taped to my side for the next 2 weeks. At least I'm on pain killers.

How did that happen? (don't tell me it was a dog, then I'll feel guilty over owning a baby-eater)
she sleeps outside in the shed at night. just keeping that inside outside farm thing in place. per john, no sound of trouble that night but she showed up that morning banged up. the leg that got chewed is not the dislocated leg. so theres a forensic challenge. shes back inside now. owl?
I think maybe Gyrfalcon. Maybe Dr. W can confirm. She has escaped the leg sling and is back on 4 legs (sort of) until tomorrow morning. How the vet thinks a kitten is going to stay in a sling for 2 weeks is beyond me. Then confined in a small room for another week!!!

This is one sad picture. Hoping for a quick recovery.
how awful. my mother went through a period of sitting outback with her cat (this was before we gifter her with rex, evil kitty, protector of the manor) on a leash with a baseball bat nearby, because of the hawks circling above and one neighbors little toy something or other that got carried off.
