richard price interview on lenny lopate from the other day. i love listening to him speak. he was also at union square b&n, did anyone go? i went to see him read from, must have been clockers, years ago down near battery park or somewhere on the water downtown and he called martin amis a midget.
I'm nearing the end of Lush Life, which as you may or may not know is very much centered around a fictional version of Schiller's on Rivington, next door to our favorite Rivington residents. I've never heard him, but have been reading him for years, thanks for the link. Listening to it now but am worried about a spoiler so I may have to pause it and finish the book. He wouldn't spoil his own book would he?
I read the first chapter and really like it. Haven't had the time for more, but hopefully soon. It's fun reading a book set in your neighborhood.
Ok, so what happens in the end is...psyche.
