The song, composed by Ralph Vaughn Williams with text by William Morris, is not well known. It’s recorded by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band, but only this short sample is online. The only video I found is this student effort.

I put this link up every year, though the slide show needs some work…
Every year since 1989 is there; that’s 24 years in a row. Beyond that most were not preserved, unless you all have any, in which case send me a scan… I do have a handful of older ones, even from childhood, which I may eventually put up, though most years I have enough trouble just getting the current one together.
