Maitripa College and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are honored to announce that as part of the visit of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to Portland, Oregon, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will give a special musical performance May 11th at Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum.
my 14th row ticket just got a lot more exciting! sorry skinny.
i guess bono wasnt available.
this is better. and sorry, i didn't see skinny also posted this.
thats ok, his link is busted and i originally thought he was talking about salvador dali.
this is a different event than your more intimate one with the dalai lama or did they change venues?
haha, no this is separate. that would be insane to have the band in our little meditation hall. there are 2 public events in portland, 1 private with my college and 1 private event with the Tibetan community.
I planned on going to the one at my college and the other public one at PSU. i just bought these tickets to the stadium event bc skinny wanted to go (it's a saturday). i volunteered to work this event, but to do that i was advised to still buy a ticket. and glad i did! i haven't been assigned to anything yet, so if not, i'll be happy to just be in the audience.
make sure you get the concert time free
Well i've already offered so if they ask, I'll do whatever they need.
It trust you followed this link from backspin: Midwest goes back to when anything beyond the Appalachians was west. That's why the University of Michigan fight song lauds the Wolverines as "the champions of the West."
