i accidentally bought some percale pillowcases and have since decided that this is the only way anyone ever buys percale. have a different opinion? come at me, bitch! (sorry, thats the cinnamon talking.)
dave you ignorant slut, only the dull and sluggish would choose to sleep on sateen, brushed, or ick jersey cotton. A few washes and you are left with limp, diapery bed clothes that cling to the skin in all the wrong places. Nothing compares to the cool crisp airy feel of 100% cotton percale, line dried on an sunny autumn day, nirvana.
who washes their sheets?
i wouldnt be surprised if most of my linens were percale. for some reason these low rent company store pillowcases seem particularly chintzy despite being 100% cotton and more than $30 a pair.
I just steal sheets off the housekeeping cart whenever I'm at Motel 6. Nothing beats polyester, the fabric of our lives(tm).
