i just got sucked in when i was thinking about someone and wondered if i could find them. seemed to be a high correlation of people that still live in the surrounding towns that were connected. although even those on it didnt post very often and i was almost surprised more people werent on it. not quite at the grandkids level but one person had a daughter getting married tho seemed like it was straight out of college.

  • there are fb groups that most HS graduating classes set up for reunions. (I only went to one and that was enough. the 30 in 2004) So you can look into those and not go. There is also a group from my HS that reads XXX HS grads from the 70's and 80's that covers more general shared experiences growing up in said town. or not.

9 years ago I scanned and posted all my year books from 3rd through 12th grade. Those pages still get tagged and are pure Facebook gold but it all feels like digital quicksand. Sorry for the mixed metaphors.
