Researchers working with Google's quantum computer lab might have created a time crystal. The paper is still in pre print and yet to be peer reviewed. Extremely deep rabbit hole ahead.

Time crystals were first theorized by Frank Wilczek in 2012.

• the problem with all those issues is human nature so im gonna say no. seems like it may increase our computing power by orders of magnitude but not anytime soon and im sure that will help ultimately but its gonna be a bumpy ride. probably some star trek shit seems more feasible. that was set about 130 years from now. so maybe they nailed it.
