According to Hillel & Inside Higher Ed, the % of undergrads who are Jews: * Harvard: 9.9% (down from 25% as recently as the 2010s) * Yale: 12.2% * Columbia University: 22.3% (down from 40% in the late '60s) * Cornell: 21.5% * Brown: 23.9%
have a feeling this was posted in relation to the anti-semitism/free speech nonsense going on in academia which led to these hearings incredulously. id like to have watched them just to roll my eyes but really dont want to as my eyes are not as spry as they once were. the hearings in turn led to at least one jewish donor pulling a $100 million dollar donation from penn (and assuredly threats of others at ivys) because he is a shit for brains. really not a great time to be a jew though i recall some considerably worse, and ultimately we know my judaism is schmear deep, but if not me, who?
happy hanukkah or so the internet tells me. ive seen candles and menorahs ablaze.
