ive got some of those comments that wont go away. how do i clear those out?
Which do you mean:
the system is saying there are [x new comments] for some page, but then this doesn't seem to be the case, and/or you can't get the counter to recognize that you've read those comments?
or
You have some comments on your page that contain no text and you want to delete them?

That was strange. I think a few other people were having that same problem. The culprit was a comment that had been deleted. When this happens the system should (and usually does) look at the unread_comments table in the database and delete any entries with the deleted comment id. Not sure why it didn't in this case. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for pointing this out.
