Sounds good to me. Does that mean meeting at 135 as opposed to Local? That would also be fine with me. I'm all for doing WOTW another time, or other downtown spots of note, for the occasional splurge. (And what do you mean, you don't know where to find it? Don't you have access to the greatest research tool ever developed? I'm guessing we're actually talking about The Greatest Bar on Earth.)
addendum to "fools day" (beauty! AW) : 13 is my lucky number and birth date. This year it's also on "Good Friday" the 13th which is rare. In the past AW and I have gotten together for diner for the occasion
and I spose this year won't be different 'cept I hope any one else inclined [ / ] can come along.
So "so /" = so inclined? That's the best emoticon yet. How about # for "I'll pray to St Lawrence for you"? St Lawrence should be popular around here: he's the patron of librarians and archivists, as well as cooks, since tradition has it that he himself was cooked on a gridiron, which looks a bit like #. He even said "I'm done on this side, turn me over".

I think I remember my art history professor showing a slide of a painting from the middle ages which depicts him gleefully running towards the grill. Martyrdom was big in those days.

I won't be able to meet this week for drinks. I'm going to David Craven's opening at Cristinerose (6-8) and also struggling to photograph installations in the studio that are above eye level. Bill's table will support my tripod but not me, so I'm perching on a ladder and looking like a complete idiot.
