i was playing donkey kong in bed as one is wont at 1146 pm on your average sunday. after getting no further than i did when pouring quarters into the machine 30 plus years ago, i clicked on an iq test link below the game. i need constant validation to remind myself that despite my supposed intelligence i am still an idiot.

that was the only question i couldnt answer correctly. got fixated on turning the lines which is how many were solved that i didnt think to superimpose.

turns out the real test came after the answers were given as the testers demanded $20 to reveal your score. that test i passed with flying colors, all of them green remaining in my virtual pocket. as you move your cursor to exit the page, a pop-up suddenly offers the score at 25% off. what a deal! too bad there wasnt a way to continue to haggle because they might have had me at 99%.

i guess we are all losers, ultimately; i without my validation, and they without their hard earned swindle.
