found via social media as i was following a thread about bastards which led me to his wiki. (he presumes "eco" is an acronym of sorts for a latin phrase suggesting the bearer was a foundling.)  although to be fair to eco this particular subreddit is highly moderated so only experts on a given subject can respond to the general public queries.
