Thanks, I sent it to the bird mail list. We get the flip side of this when a few European birds show up here each year. There have been reports of Northern Wheatear on Long Island recently. Common birds, but people get excited when they're seen out of range. The sad truth is that most such "accidentals" are doomed in their new environments.
