  • i stumbled recently carrying curry? out of the kitchen and doused a painted white wall. used soap and water and thought i had cleaned well (hoped really) but in the light of day it needed a magic touch. did start to worry that i was taking off some paint but it think i stopped in time for it not to be noticeable. i try not to notice. i took a half used one down to the basement when i was doing my laundry to try and clean the brushed steel ? elevator button faceplate which had a white sheen on it forever. thought i was a going to earn my mr clean ribbon for excellence but the sheen returned before the elevator arrived. i also brought down an all purpose cleaner and wiped down all of the washers and dryers because if not me, who? i also swept the floor. because if not me, you see where this is going. of course, as with the turkey, c- effort but if we are grading on a curve compared to people who wont pick up garbage in front of their door.....

i bought the budget brand on amazon as well after using the mr clean version. didnt notice a discernible difference. mostly ive just used them for stray marks on walls or tile. might have to see about the bathtub wall grout which has an unnerving red patina i assume is from iron in the water.
