maybe "bedtime for bonzo" would have said it all. i saw nancy reagan not long ago make an impassioned plea for continuing research into stem cells for things like alzheimers. it seemed like it was heartfelt. its unfortunate that her compassion was so selective but maybe it humanized her in the end. she also poo-pooed a reagan university. i got the impression that she had tired of his canonization by the conservatives. maybe she was just tired.
