Two guys I used to work with would play pranks on each other, especially when one went on vacation. My fav was the disappearing cubical. The opening of a cubical was replaced with a panel. I was there when Sean returned from vacation. He walked right past his cube, and ended up in someone else's office with a quizzical expression.
Another was the penny drop. About 500 pennies in a tube concealed above the ceiling tiles set to release in a cascade (via a thread) when a chair was pulled back. Mike arrived at 6:00 AM that morning, depriving us of the show.
