kitty just killed his first bird, i am so depressed, morning dove, i have seen/heard them since i moved in the mate is out side crying too, he brought it to me....i know life feeds on life but why the morning dove.....:<(:<(
That's a Mourning Dove. Now you know why. I've got sympathy for the cats, but they are a big problem for birds, especially as sprawl takes them into new environments. Ground-nesting species disappear almost immeditately when suburbs and free-roaming "house" cats arrive on the scene. Of course there's a movement...
