I’ve been using eBird a free listing program from Cornell; it’s convenient, but they want to use the data for conservation and other scientific purposes, so they lean on you for quantifiable data. Counting pigeons and Canada geese is not high on my agenda, but I’m trying to provide reasonable estimates, so that my data will not be “degraded.”
