we just got all kitchen aid appliances and we are very happy. i would not buy another fridge with two fridge doors on top (freezer on bottom), bc you open one side and inevitably what you need is on the other side, so it's lots of doors opening. then there's a drawer that goes the width of the unit, and to open that you have to open both doors. a minor annoyance. plus kids can't really access stuff bc the fridge is high. that might be a good thing with a small toddler, but when you want them to fetch you something, not so helpful.
