went to order some fish (first time i have ever been in the store as i dont love this kind of food, or not yet), told this young kid the recipe, this older guy hands him a fish, kid looks confused, guy wispers "He cant tell the difference", i know NYC can be "in the know or get fucked" but right in front of me....i dont know fish well but i have poured wine side by side with one of thier suppliers named Sir John....after a few seconds shock and a few slices in, i said thats enough of that one, let me have some of this one...the first which was no less money and maybe more and was inferior (from what i learned with Sir John)....
