How to carve a turkey.
Reminds me of first year anatomy.
we called the course "last week's turkey"
That popping the whole breast out for separate carving thing is damned impressive.
My first ever carving went okay. I didn't try to pop the breast out though.
That guy on YouTube made it look easy but it did involve a lot of deep reaching into meat and wrenching.
First rule of carving: be ready to get turkey up to your elbows.
I've taken apart a raw turkey for frying -- even messier. But tell you what, there's nothing quite like a deep fried tender of turkey breast.
we had goose. had to put it back in as not done. came out crispy good 2nd time around. not big meat yield though. had turkey too.
