cardamum in oatmeal, why did i never think of this before!
i just bought some libyan charoset for lunch and it has cardamom. im more familiar with the askenazi style (primarily apples, walnuts, dates, cinnamon & sweet red wine) as opposed to this which is sephardic and has mandarin oranges along with dates, raisins almonds, cashews, cayenne and red wine. i was suggesting last week that this is an underrated foodstuff that deserves a wider berth than passover.
they both sound good. i've never had charoset, but i'm guessing it's not usually served like this
nope but i had a few duncan hines birthday cakes growing up that wish they were that clever.
