Alright! Today we are gonna roast a beer can chicken on the grill with Yuengling lager. Will concede to the practice of wrapping can with aluminum foil to block off any unwanted properties from migrating out of the
paint.

You could do your bit for science and roast a second one, side by side, everything identical, except have the second chicken's foil wrapped can be empty. Or, maybe there are some things we don't want to debunk. I like the beer can idea myself. Screams BBQ.
It may not be a true steam process, but there is certain evaporation. It also stands the chicken well on the grill. I don't know how you would grill a whole chicken otherwise. I get the beer can debunking info, but they do turn out great (crispy skin and moist interior) at I would contend little health
risk. And as you say, it screams BBQ all the way to the finish. Coffee ground rub. With couscous, BBQ corn in husk, sliced garden tomatoes. + O & V
S & P, butter for corn
can only assume from the dearth of exultation that it was a complete failure (more fowl than fair one might say) and you died from botulism poisoning. thankfully the billbot 2000 was programmed just in time to provide blog posts for an eternity of eager minds.
Assume it turned out moist and crispy as it always does. -bot
Ok...Been wanting to chime in here for a while about Beer Can Chick debate, was hoping to post image of one of the few BC chicks we made up in Twin Lakes ca 2005..(? ) but cant fig how to...have waited to remark..... First of all..tasted great..(we even served to certain art critics...) But more importantly was awesome volcanic effect of beer shooting up thru little fuckers neck hole when one removed the lid of the Weber...If we can get photo up you will see the extent to which we stretched that sucker around the oversized Fosters can...Def made things that much more graphic....
We pro BCC...!!
