that was a lot of standing around to see papa francis for about 10 minutes. i like his name, didn't realize they got to choose themselves.
i would go with pope pius but i like to tempt fate.
pope hilarius would be on the short list.
pope agapetus wont be coming back anytime soon nor sisinnius.
Brainy NBC reporter says “Latin America has waited 20 centuries for a pope of their own” and I’m thinking it was only 15 centuries ago that the Europeans sailed over and forced Catholicism down the local’s throats. The realistic possibility of a Latin American pope is strictly a 21st Century phenomenon, but you’ve got to give the Vatican credit, it adjusts to demographic shifts faster than the US Republican Party.
