Wild style was important movie informing the downtown scene. I think it's on criterion.

got about halfway through mikey and nicky yesterday. maybe finish today. guess its kind of an elaine may take on a cassavettes film. true?
happen to be at warby parker last week and they had a bowl of cardboard eclipse glasses for free on the counter. i did not even know an eclipse was due and i sure didnt think i cared but i grabbed two pairs because they were there and they were free. actually thought i might give them to a neighbor with kids but then i didnt.
so beautiful cloudless day today with post morning rituals giving me a glimmer of hope that today will be different from every other day and with a desperate need to get outside i may have to wander over to the park ive avoided most of the winter and find a spot to look at the sun disappear for 30 seconds. i wonder if this will be the most action the park has seen since native americans allegedly sold manhattan to the dutch near Shorakkopoch Rock.
S1E1 Loot. All the cameos in the world won't make this one work
Curb finally...

Burn After Reading
3 episodes into Ripley. Andrew Scott is excellent and plays the character in a much more subdued way than Matt Damon, who I also thought was great in the role. A very well crafted show.
crazy fookin brit kids, 1974
just watched this wacky shit.
really slacking on my critierion movie output. this month looks promising. some podcast referenced the sorcerer recently which id never heard of and friedkin is highlighted this month so gonna give it a go. was gonna go in cold but post a trailer then i couldnt help being reminded without even watching it that it was a wages of fear remake. now im a little less enthused but its raining so why not get mired in the mud.
Watching Nolly on PBS masterpiece and Mme Blanc mysteries. Both a little retro in style
Watched a music school double feature last night, Whiplash and CODA. Wasn't that one of Dave's four dominant themes in current film? Evil and benevolent music teachers respectively.
I am stressed out, will explain later months from now, but in the meantime I thought I deserved a NCAA Elite 8 (womans) upclose seat, 3/31.
Sadly not IOWA nor the price to see them, LOVED watching her break the record, a pal watched in person, lucky him.....
My first womans game ever, and my third live big basketball ever....
#1 1970-something Celtics, Larry Bird etc, I think, my pop took me
#2 2012 Blazers vs Lakers, took my asshole biz partner and he said "its better on the TV"
#3 Winners of Gonzaga-Texas vs NC State-Stanford
cant find where i mentioned constellation. just finished up the first season. a lot of these start with promise then fall off but i still kind of liked this one though it ended with a whimper. wonder if they will give it a second season.
