I can even post on the group pages! Hey, guys, did you see me in Intolerable Cruelty?
10. Tell me about your relationship with Quentin. How did you meet? Do you
spend much time together. Talk about your trip to the Kill Bill set and your
thoughts on the film?

quentin and i were both raised by wolves in california and we reunited in 1997
through a mutual friend. I love him and i love his work. kill bill was one helluva friday night movie and i suppose we all have to wait for saturday night to really make sense of what the hell is going on....we spend as much time together as we should.....just enough. My trip to China to visit him was mostly about making sure that the extascy was good enough for him to try....seeing the great wall, visiting all the landmarks, sleeping in a nice hotel, watching him kill people, getting blood all over me and helping spend Miramax's money....

ran across this page of nyc history links while trying to find a picture of the church on east 3rd between a and b. looks like they are just about finished restoring the dome to its original copper finish. guess i need one of them new fangled digitized picture recording devices. then i could astound you with images of that and of the new bar on allen st named after the infamous argentine estrella de futbol, Diego Maradonna. yet for some reason i didnt see any tvs for watching the game. maybe they are forthcoming.

also, anyone been to loreley yet?
Please welcome a new addition to the Tree: Sally McKay's weblog. Sally is an artist based in Toronto, who will be covering the art scene there (among other things); she was an editor for several years of the now retired art magazine Lola. Some of you met her at a recent Tree-related event, during her visit to NY. I recommend her writing and take on things: you can add her page to your front page in [subscriptions].

Oh, and "McKay" is pronounced like why rather than whey, because of diverging Scottish bloodlines.

BOOGIE NYC

Under the plan, the city would issue "nightlife licenses" to clubs and bars that meet certain qualifications, Dykstra said. Nightlife establishments that serve beer or food would need a two-year license if they were:

_ Located in a residential or mixed-use neighborhood.

_ Had a capacity of more than 75 people.

_ Played music at a level above 90 decibels.

_ Remained open past 1 a.m.

Establishments in commercial, manufacturing and certain mixed use zones would need a capacity of more than 200 _ along with the other factors _ to require a license.

Last nite was my last nite out on the town for 2003......

Starting out at Fiamma for some tasty grub, white truffles are not great this year and damn expensive but due to some star power we were juiced up, I brought some great old wine, and we were off, Kobe beef over Arugula was a home run to finish the meal, East meets West.......

Than off to wd~50 to try some new creations by the two best talents in NY, a Nantuket Scallop dish that easly goes to the top of the wd charts (its getting to be a long list), I wanted to order 2 more plates but was calmed by a Char treat, both of these may soon to be on the menu, do not miss them, than 2 desserts from the menu, one was Pear 5 Ways AWESOME, than what could actually be the best dessert since the kumquat bliss left the rotation, Concord Grape Sorbet / Goat Cheese Panna Cotta / Port Wine Foam/ etc SCARY AMAZING.....nobody in NY comes close to these guys, NOBOBY.....
The results are in Skinny 1 Lipitor 0.....
