that damn "
dock ellis pitches a no-hitter on lsd" again. i wouldnt post this but i thought the way its presented is pretty cool.
During the week I have no cable. So I stream Netflix on the iPad. It's not easy to navigate the Netflix ap but I get by. Been mining the
classic album series. Among other documentaries.
qatar "won" the rights to the 2022 world cup, then they spent $200 million to advertise themselves on barcelonas jerseys for the next ten years. after that they bought paris st. germain in the french league and started scooping up talent for them, and finally theyve launched a new soccer channel and have been aggressively buying up broadcasting rights around the world. for the us market, they now control rights to the italian, french and spanish leagues. not a bad thing on the face of it (for me as its only available at the moment via satellite) but i cant see with only one channel how theyll manage scheduling conflicts. all three leagues were broadcast on separate channels last year so there were games from each league broadcast live simultaneously .
anyway, the station is beIN Sports owned by the good folks at al-jazeera. i guess i should be happy that the new NBCSports channel wasnt in the mix.
some bbc fare to look for
soon.
